Formation of a painting

This is a very simple application of a creative thought. I have been studying ravens for the past several months with some in compositions that have been fun. I believe that I've only scratched the surface so, with no further explanation, please find Formation in it's development stages.

  1. I love seeing the transformation of a blank white canvas into a piece of art. Thanks.

  2. This is wonderful. I had already seen the finished piece somewhere else. Facebook maybe? But, seeing the progression gives it extra meaning. Wonderful and can't wait to see more ravens.

  3. I love this new painting. I'm fond of that long format too. I know they aren't practical when it comes to framing, but I think they are so interesting. Can't wait to see more ravens.

  4. This long narrow format was fun and seem to lend itself to the composition. Framing was a nonissue as I used a black floater.
